I'd like to know who it is that is telling posters that it's not up to date and that Ron has not received his money.

This document even includes check numbers that were sent to him by the state of florida.
Yes it is my understanding someone else paid Crystals back childsupport for her.

That's a real possibility especially if she left a door open.

This is a change in my thoughts. I always thought she was home but had company. Ummm ... maybe she left with the company or left the company there, and came back & they were both gone.

I wonder why they blacked out the Case #. I would love to look it up online.

Well, shoot. I just found the thread thanks to our Twitter friend and now I have to go out.

I got no PM from anyone.

I'll be back later to post with anyone here since this seems to be where we will stay until anything new comes out. I wish everyone could post nicely. Haleigh deserves to have her name out there and we can help a little if we just act like adults.

I don't blame CW for being sick of some of us. I know we can do better if we try.

In the meantime, prayers for our little one Haleigh.

Ummm. It shouldn't matter where it is and I hope that doesn't become an argument.

So they must NOT be sure of just where she was.

Like I said...it's only theory.
If Misty were really out that night, where are the witnesses? If LE had put out a reward for information do you think witnesses might have come forward?

I'm stuck on that. Not sure what to think but I've always had the feeling that she was asleep by eight or nine pm and slept through everything.

And the doors may have been unlocked no matter what Misty says.

Will we ever find out the truth?

As an aside to Coldwater,
Thanks for allowing us this thread.

Very true, but i'm past that. Time will tell if Crystal keeps up with the payments since the kind Rich Lady from Texas helped her out.

Do you or anyone know if Crystal still has to pay child support on Haleigh since she went missing? I know this is really none of my bussiness but i was just wondering if there was a stop on it until she is found.

Thanks! I didn't think of that, I live on the water also and come to think of it sometimes when the water is still for awhile the marshes do get really stinky. I have smelled decomp before and it is nothing like any other smell.

I am happy that this issue has been cleared up.

Sorry, I do not see this as clearing up CS issues. There are no dates for what months these payments are for.

It could be that the money paid by that person in TX was sent in payments and not in a lump sum as most assumed.

Until I see real proof, I will allow posters to say that they do not believe it is up to date. It would only be their opinion and the above is your.

And this is my opinion.

That's the part that makes no sense. If she didn't have a key (and I have heard she did), why not just shut the door? It wouldn't have locked her out unless it was an automatic lock and it doesn't look like it was.

I get tired of the Crystal is a victim card. She's a big girl, she can think for herself. And before any of you throw things at me, I get tired of the Ron is a victim thing also. Yes, they have lost a child and it must be horrendous, but it does not excuse some of the ridiculous behavior they have both engaged in having nothing to do with Haleigh's disappearance. jmo

Good question. And another one can people get these records just by looking on the internet?

I do not think so.

This proofs nothing to me because there is no way to prove it is an official record.

The only thing that makes sense to me with the door is that it was staged. Nothing else makes sense. If she left why leave the door open? Not as if she could probably hear them, why not just go out the front door, gone is gone. Propping the back door open just seems so weird. Does anyone remember if they figured out where the cinderblock came from?

CF I will never understand why we all keep getting into arguements about the child support. I could give a rats behind wether or not she's paid it now. If it was an issue it was as a motive. Wether it is still owed or paid up now to me is a non-issue. I agree if we keep going over the same ground we will probably be shut down. If I never hear about Ron's work hours or Crystal's child support again I will perfectly happy. jmo

Yeah i had heard she didn't have a key. So i always wondered if who ever took haleigh might have known she didn't have a key.

logos, I don't know for sure how it works in FL compared to where I am, but the number of children doesn't matter anymore here. They use a formula of certain expenses and income per parent and since Crystal's amount is the minimum per the basis they used, it might not change even if Haleigh is taken off.

I'm just guessing because I figured that it would be less, too, but it may not be based on the formulas they use there.

It usually doesn't change until the missing child is declared dead

I still see no reason to prop open the door to sneak out, key or not. She could have just shut it and left it unlocked. I personally think she may have not checked the door and that she fell asleep before the children did IF she is not involved in some way.

What I don't understand is why she used that door, if she's the one who left it blocked open. Why would she not have used the front door, which, iirc, was easier to get open.

Has the key issue (whether or not she had one) ever been addressed by LE or the press? I don't see it if it has. I can't imagine her not having a key when she would have been alone with the children.

Ignore my post above, teresa...I posted it while you were replying. You answered my question about the key.

But I still wonder about the choice to use the back door and prop it open, IF that's what she did.

Yes...if she didn't lock that door and woke up and found HaLeigh gone, given Ron's reaction when he got home (or that of any father)....nope, I wouldn't admit I didn't lock the door, either.

Another thing I was thinking about with the back door is if (God forbid) something did happen Haleigh and the pulled a vehicle to the back door as a way of covering up what was happening? But there still is the problem that it is open when Ron comes home. IIRC they said they didn't use that door and kept it locked. Haleigh couldn't have been very heavy so I guess maybe it wouldn't have made a difference which door they took out of. Thinking out loud. Sorry jmo

That part I don't know. I guess it's even possible that HaLeigh went looking for her. I don't totally buy "always or never" when it comes to something happening especially when it comes to children.

If the front door was unlocked, that would make sense. Even if it wasn't a deadbolt (and I don't know), I'd consider someone brave or stupid to break in that way, but sure it happens.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. There definitely has been a crime committed against Haleigh, but we just don't know which crime yet.
Poor Haleigh. If only her "step-mom" would cooperate like LE so desperately needs her to, she may be able to come home.

I agree Viva, not too many scenarios I can think of that her being gone is not a crime. She deserves her own forum. THere is still new information coming forward. jmo

Agree with you on that. I've seen parents who claim, "my child would never...", when there is really no way to know. It would depend on the motivation.
